Toledo man gets 2 years for Wood Co. break-ins

BOWLING GREEN — A Toledo man was sentenced Monday to two years in prison for breaking into houses in Perrysburg and Bowling Green.

Mark A. Weaver, Jr., 22, of 3056 Chase St. was convicted in Wood County Common Pleas Court in May of three counts of attempted burglary. Judge Reeve Kelsey sentenced him.

Weaver was arrested with Anthony Braswell, 22, of 914 Oakwood Ave. after a resident of the Cogan's Crossing subdivision in Bowling Green saw two men trying to get into her house.

Braswell, who was sentenced to five years in prison, escaped from police custody the morning the pair were arrested and was rearrested when he tried to leave Bowling Green in a cab.
