Firefighters battle a blaze at Oak and Navarre in east Toledo. Enlarge

Fire crews Wednesday afternoon battled a vacant house fire at the intersection of Oak and Nevada streets in East Toledo.

The fire damaged houses on either side. A firefighter was taken from the scene for treatment.
