Findlay man arrested in stabbing

FINDLAY - A man was arrested and accused of stabbing another man Friday night, authorities said.

Jerrod Clark, 35, of Findlay was charged with felonious assault in the stabbing of Michael Garcia, 52, and booked into the Hancock County jail, Findlay police said.

Mr. Garcia was taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital, where his condition was unavailable.

Officers responding to a report of a fight in progress involving a knife arrived at 215 North Main St. about

8:05 p.m. and were told that a suspect was last observed running south on North Main.

Police made the arrest within minutes.

Officers did not say what the fight was about.
