Two people accused of shooting a Burger King manager during a July 11 robbery will be arraigned next week on robbery and assault charges.
Jermaine L. Stokes, 25, of 1768 Cone St. and Robin M. Ensley, 22, of 5084 Norwich Rd. each were indicted Monday on aggravated robbery and felonious assault charges, each with gun specifications. Stokes was also charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm. They are to be arraigned Wednesday before Judge Gene Zmuda.
Police said they were robbing the fast-food restaurant at Hill Avenue and Reynolds Road when Stokes shot the manager, James Harding, 29, in the thigh.
