Bowling Green police seek input for accreditation process
BOWLING GREEN — City residents are invited to critique the Bowling Green Police Division at a public information session set for 5:30 p.m. Aug. 16 in City Council chambers, 304 North Church St.
Assessors from the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies will be in town beginning Aug. 14 to examine all aspects of the police division and to field public comments.
Those who cannot attend the session may provide comments to the assessment team by calling 419-353-0935 between 1 and 3 p.m. Aug. 16.
The Bowling Green department has been accredited by the agency since 1993. A copy of the commission's accreditation standards can be obtained from the police division.
