Findlay pedestrian dies after being hit on July 4

FINDLAY — A Findlay man who was struck by a car July 4 while walking on Hancock County Road 220 north of Findlay has died at the University of Toledo Medical Center.

Kevin Brooks, 19, was pronounced dead at 1 a.m. Thursday at the hospital.

He was walking north on Road 220 just south of County Road 109 about 9:50 p.m. when he was struck by a northbound car driven by Eric Calvin, 32, of Findlay. Mr. Calvin was not cited.
