Truck fire closes part of U.S. 20 in Fulton Co.
METAMORA, Ohio — A tractor-trailer rig caught fire early Tuesday on U.S. 20 near this Fulton County community, closing the road in both directions, authorities said.
A tractor hauling two empty trailers began smoking, then caught fire about 1:50 a.m. on U.S. 20 near Fulton County Road 6. There were no injuries, the county sheriff's office said.
The incident closed U.S. 20 between State Rts. 109 and 64, the Ohio Department of Transportation said.
