A central Toledo man was charged with aggravated arson after he allegedly tried to use gasoline to burn down an occupied house in the 900 block of Junction Avenue, police said.
Amos Gregory, 66, of 1619 Vance St. was held Wednesday night in the Lucas County jail in lieu of $100,000 bond.
Mr. Gregory is accused of igniting a two-gallon container of fuel he concealed in overgrown bushes just before midnight Tuesday behind the home of Bobby Robinson.
No one was hurt, police said.
