NB I-75 traffic flowing over bridge after accident snarls morning commute

Northbound Interstate 75 traffic on the DiSalle bridge over the Maumee River returned to its two-lane construction pattern late Thursday morning, according to a release from the Ohio Department of Transportation.

The left lane was closed after an injury accident some time before 7 a.m. At least two cars and a semi rig hauling a double trailer were involved in the crash, witnesses report.

Dispatchers reported emergency crews were delayed in reaching the site because of traffic backups.
