22 business owners from area given recognition

Two local business organizations have singled out in the past week 22 area business owners for special recognition or awards.

The Northwest Ohio Chapter of SCORE, a retired executives business mentoring group, Tuesday recognized 16 successful small-business clients in the region at an event to celebrate the local chapter's 45th anniversary.

Honored were:

• Kim Marion of Clair David Interior of Toledo.

• Rob Langenderfer of Digital Perspective of Toledo.

• Ann Lumbrezer of Ann Lumbrezer Massage Therapy, Sylvania.

• Priscilla D'Anniballe of Paul Davis Restoration, Monclova Township.

• Marie Perkins of DaVinci's Gallery & Coffee House, Fremont.

• Shawna Shadoan of Radiant Windows & Remodeling, Oak Harbor, Ohio.

• Nick Koepke of Koepke Complete Auto Repair, Erie, Mich.

• Don Carino of Seagate Home Inventory, Toledo.

• Claude Montgomery and Donna Burke of Mailworks, Toledo.

• Jim Damshroder of Buckeye Store and More, Sylvania.

• Ken Kauffman of Old Fashioned Barber Shop, Toledo.

• Dan and Cathy Reichow of Dan R's Automotive, Oregon.

• Don Coburn of Schooley Mitchell, Sylvania.

• Kisha Slater of Victory & Kindness Childcare Inc., Toledo.

• Robin Forst and Daniel Brossia of Pyure Salon & Spa, Maumee.

• Beth Vollmar of Food Services Start-up Business, Toledo.

Meanwhile, the Entrepreneurial & Business Excellence Hall of Fame recently announced its 2010 award winners, who will be inducted into the hall at a ceremony scheduled for Nov. 4.

The inductees are:

• Tim Paradiso, president of BDS Agency Management, of Fremont.

• Ben Bauman, president and CEO of Bolt Express, of Toledo.

• Matt Aston, president of Ground Penetrating Radar Systems Inc., of Sylvania.

• David Woodward, president and creative director of North Designs, of Toledo.

• William F. "Bill" Reineke, founder and board chairman of Reineke Family Dealerships, of Fostoria.

• Dr. Stephen Branam, founder, and Mick Janness, president and CEO, of Branam Oral Health Technologies, of Oregon.
