A Sylvania Township man charged in an out-of-state slaying waived his right to a hearing yesterday and agreed to be extradited to Kansas.
Kansas authorities will have two weeks to transport William D. Holt II, 26, of 3759 Harrowsfield Rd., to Topeka, where he was charged with first-degree murder and aggravated burglary.
Lucas County Common Pleas Court ordered that he remain in custody in lieu of $1 million bond.
Mr. Holt was arrested by Sylvania Township police Sept. 19 after he went to the station voluntarily to talk with detectives.
The charges stem from the death of Mitch Vose, 32, who was found shot dead in his Topeka home Sept. 18. Local authorities said Mr. Vose was in a relationship with Mr. Holt's ex-girlfriend.
