At least one person was hurt seriously when a car and tractor-trailer collided Thursday afternoon on U.S. 24 in Waterville Township, the Ohio Highway Patrol said.
An air ambulance transported one person to the University of Toledo Medical Center, the former Medical College of Ohio Hospital. The identity of the injured person was not released.
The crash was reported about 1:20 p.m. on U.S. 24 south of Dutch Road. Information was not immediately available about which direction the vehicles were headed at the time of the crash, troopers said.
The highway is temporarily closed between Dutch and Jerome roads.
