Toledo police said Sunday a Toledo man found slain in his central-city home became the city's second homicide in two days.
Mark Ward, 49, of 1520 Bell Ave. was found on the floor of his home. He had been shot several times and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said they were called at 6:20 p.m. but did not say who called them or elaborate on the number of times Mr. Ward was shot or where he was struck.
No one was in custody.
Toledo police are continuing to investigate the shooting death of a man in an East Toledo business.
On Saturday William La-mar Carswell, 54, owner of Main Street Exchange, 134 Main St., was found shot at about 4 p.m.
