FINDLAY — Five people were injured, one of them seriously, in a two-car crash Thursday at an intersection in Hancock County's Biglick Township east of Findlay, authorities said.
Dylan Hoffbauer, 15, of McCutchenville, Ohio, a passenger in a car being driven by his father, Rick Hoffbauer, 42, also of McCutchenville, was flown to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo, according to the Hancock County Sheriff's Office.
He was listed in critical condition Friday, a hospital spokesman said.
Mr. Hoffbauer was taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital, where a hospital spokesman said she had no information about a person by that name.
The driver of the other car, Timothy Stuart, 36, of Alvada, Ohio, and his two passengers, his wife Melody, 36, and their 1-year-old son, whose name was not available, were treated at the scene.
Deputies said Mr. Hoffbauer was driving west on County Road 7 about five miles east of Findlay about 11:20 a.m. when he failed to yield the right of way at a stop sign at County Road 330.
He drove into the intersection and into the path of a car driven south on Road 330 by Mr. Stuart, deputies said.
The crash remained under investigation Friday.
Biglick Township is about 45 miles south Toledo.
