4 hurt in Hancock County crash

McCOMB, Ohio — Four people were injured in a two-vehicle crash Sunday on U.S. 224 west of Hancock County Road 139 in Liberty Township, sheriff's deputies said.

Investigators said Daniel J. Alberti, 28, of Chicago, was driving west on U.S. 224 when his 2005 Pontiac 4D slid into the eastbound lane and struck by a 2006 Jeep driven by Barbara Zimmerman, 49, of Findlay. The accident was reported at 5:33 p.m.

Ms. Zimmerman and her two passengers, Ashley Zimmerman, 19, of Findlay, and an unidentified 14-year-old boy, were taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital with unspecified injuries. Their conditions were unavailable Sunday night.

Mr. Alberti, who also was taken to the Findlay hospital, was cited for operation without reasonable control.
