Toledo Christmas trees can be taken to 6 spots

EDITOR'S NOTE: This version corrects the number of locations.

The city of Toledo won't collect Christmas trees at the curb this year for recycling, but residents can take them to six locations.

Trees will be accepted through Jan. 14 at Jermain Park, Schneider Field, Ravine Park II, Detwiler Park, Bowman Park (Laskey Street access), and Greenwood Park (Darrell Street access).

In addition, through Friday, trees can be dropped off free of charge at the two Clean Wood Recycling facilities, 6505 West Bancroft St. and 5330 Stickney Ave.
