McCOMB, Ohio — Four people were hurt in a two-vehicle crash Sunday on U.S. 224 west of Hancock County Road 139 in Liberty Township, sheriff's deputies said.
Investigators said Daniel J. Alberti, 28, of Chicago, was driving west on U.S. 224 when his car slid into the eastbound lane and was struck by a sport utility vehicle driven by Barbara Zimmerman, 49, of Findlay. The crash was reported at 5:33 p.m.
Ms. Zimmerman and her two passengers, Ashley Zimmerman, 19, of Findlay, and an unidentified 14-year-old boy, were taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital.
Mr. Alberti, who also was taken to the Findlay hospital, was cited for operation without reasonable control. The victims were treated and released.
