U.S. 224 mishap injures Findlay woman, 33

FINDLAY — A Findlay woman was injured Thursday on U.S. 224, about three miles east of Findlay, when her vehicle left the icy roadway, went end over end, and came to rest on the driver's side in a ditch, according to the Hancock County Sheriff's Office.

Nicole M. Marin, 33, was flown to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, where she was listed in fair condition.

Deputies said she was westbound shortly before noon and lost control of her Suzuki Vitra on the slick road. She was extricated from her vehicle by Washington Township firefighters. Her passenger, Becky J. Limpach, 34, of Findlay, was not injured.
