Whitehouse village council, in conjunction with the Toledo Area Metroparks, has opened the large quarry at the Blue Creek Conservation Area to allow public fishing and nature walks.
Fishing is allowed from the quarry edge. No ice fishing, boating, or swimming is allowed.
Ohio fishing licenses are required for anyone 16 or older and can be obtained nearby at the General Pro Hardware Store in downtown Whitehouse.
