A Toledo man has been charged with aggravated robbery after allegedly confronting a 17-year-old South Toledoan as he was getting into his vehicle.
Joshua McGhee, 23, of 636 Ogden Ave., is in the Lucas County jail.
According to Toledo police reports, Henry Wynne, Jr., had gone outside to warm up a sport utility vehicle in the driveway of his home in the 600 block of Geneva Avenue about 11:50 p.m. Monday when two people approached. One, who had a black handgun, swung at him.
Young Wynne told police he kicked the robber, got into the SUV, backed into a yard, then pulled forward, striking a utility pole.
Police said they found Mr. McGhee and a weapon on the porch of 636 Ogden Ave.
