Motorcycle crash kills Michigan man, injures passenger

METAMORA, Ohio — A motorcycle crash in Amboy Township, Fulton County, Sunday killed a Michigan man and injured a woman.

George Torres, 52, of Tecumseh, was driving a 2008 Harley-Davidson westbound on County Road U, just east of County Road 2, at 6:30 p.m. when the motorcycle went off the right side of the road and overturned. Mr. Torres and his passenger, Paula Dinius, 44, of Clayton, Mich., were thrown from the bike, according to the Toledo post of the Highway Patrol.

Mr. Torres was pronounced dead on scene.

Ms. Dinius was taken to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center with “incapacitating injuries,” according to the Highway Patrol.

Both riders were wearing helmets.

The crash remains under investigation.
