OAK HARBOR — Ottawa County residents may take their old appliances and scrap metal to the Ottawa County Fairgrounds on State Rt. 163 between 9 a.m. and noon Saturday for recycling.
TVs, computers, and other electronics will not be accepted, but washing machines and dryers, ovens, water heaters, dehumidifiers, furnaces, air conditioners, and other appliances will be. Items made of steel, such as grills, lawn mowers, and propane tanks, will be taken.
