More than 5,000 pounds of fireworks were seized from a South Toledo home Thursday.
The consumer and modified fireworks were taken from 1576 Claybourne Drive. The fireworks were displayed on shelving units like a store showroom inside the home, according to the State Fire Marshal.
Investigators from the Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms; Toledo Police Department; and the Toledo Fire Investigative Unit also seized homemade fireworks.
Last week, ATF agents received a tip that individuals were selling fireworks from the home. After making an undercover purchase from the home, a search warrant was obtained and police entered the home early Thursday morning.
The investigation is ongoing.
