Reproductions of Christopher Columbus' famous ships the Pinta and the Nina will sail into Toledo Friday, offering visitors a look back at history. The sailing museums will be docked at Skyway Marina, 1701 Front St., until Wednesday. The Nina was built completely by hand without the use of power tools. The Pinta is a larger version of the archetypal caravel, a Portuguese ship used by Columbus and other explorers. Admission is $8 for adults, $7 for seniors, and $6 for children 5-16. The Ohio State Fair is in full swing, featuring carnival rides, a petting zoo, and interactive agricultural displays. A variety of entertainers will perform at the Celeste Center, including Ke$ha at 7 tonight; Tank, Chrisette Michele, and Avant's Summer of Love Tour at 7 p.m. Friday; Meat Loaf, at 7 p.m. Saturday; Seether and 10 Years at 7:30 p.m. Sunday; the David Crowder Band at 7 p.m. Monday; Loretta Lynn at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday; Big Time Rush at 7 p.m. Wednesday, and Trace Adkins at 7 p.m. Aug. 4. The fair runs through Aug. 7 at fhe Ohio Expo Center, 717 E. 17th Ave., Columbus. Admission is $10 for adults and $8 for seniors and children 5-12. Children under 5 are free.
