Refuse, recycling slated at Nebraska near Hawley

Toledo City Councilman Paula Hicks Hudson has arranged for a “refuse drop and recycling event” Saturday in the parking lot of Zepf Center, 905 Nebraska Ave. near Hawley Street.

The “Bulky Refuse & Recycling Drop-Off” event will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Debris, couches, furniture, TVs, tires, and metal items will be taken free. Recycling trucks will be there for most types of recyclable materials. No hazardous waste, such as oil, paint, or chemicals, will be taken.
