NASA missions topic of Monroe college talk

TEMPERANCE — Monroe Community College’s Whitman Center is to have a free presentation about NASA missions, such as the Hubble Space Telescope, that have aided in the study of the solar system. The speaker is to be Laura J. Megeath, coordinator of the Appold Planetarium at Lourdes University in Sylvania.

The presentation is to be from 7 to 8 p.m. in Room 9 Wednesday. That is the last day of two free exhibits in the center’s lobby about the moon and solar system on loan from the Lunar and Planetary Institute of Houston.

The Whitman Center is at 7777 Lewis Ave.
