Free rabies vaccines will be available on a first-come, first-served basis Saturday at Walbridge Park, 2801 Broadway St. across from the Toledo Zoo, for local cats and dogs.
The clinic, which is being put on by Humane Ohio with support from the Humane Society of The United States, will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Shots will be given by a licensed veterinarian and will come with tags identifying the pet as having been vaccinated.
Humane Ohio operates a low-cost spay/neuter clinic and a pet food bank.
