ELMORE -- The Wildcats overcame an 11-2 first-quarter deficit Friday night to edge the Bulldogs in Northern Buckeye Conference girls basketball.
Kalyn Tate led Woodmore (1-2, 1-0 NBC) with 11 points and Brittany Wolford added 10.
For Rossford (1-1, 0-1), Julie Hotz tallied 13 points and Courtney Morris had 10.
Lake 49, Genoa 36
Alyssa Shaffer scored 16 points and Hannah Cox 10 to lead the Flyers (3-0, 1-0) at Owens Community College.
Ciara Albright paced Genoa (1-2, 0-1) with 10 points.
Elmwood 66, Fostoria 22
BLOOMDALE -- Sierra Beckford scored 17 points and Brittany Gross had 12 points to go with 11 rebounds and seven steals for the Royals (2-0, 1-0 NBC).
Erica Moore had seven points and seven rebounds for Fostoria (0-2, 0-1).
Otsego 63, Eastwood 39
TONTOGANY -- Hannah Greulich scored 20 points to lead the Knights in a rout of the Eagles.
Morgan McCullough tallied 11 points and Kylee Bernthisel had 10 for Otsego.
Alanna Heestand paced Eastwood with 12 points on four 3-pointers.
