Walbridge library moves to 6-day schedule
WALBRIDGE — The Walbridge branch of the Wood County District Public Library will be open six days a week beginning Feb. 3.
Hours were curtailed when state budget cuts took a toll on public libraries, but six-day-a-week service is being restored with help from a five-year, 0.8-mill operating levy that voters in the library district approved in November, 2010.
The Walbridge Library, 108 N. Main St., will be open from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays; 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesdays; 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Fridays, and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays. It will remain closed on Sundays.
