Notes: OU has won six in a row with four wins coming by single digits. ... UT has lost three straight, including a heartbreaking 72-65 setback to Buffalo on Saturday in a game in which the Rockets led by 13 in the second half. ... OU has won four straight over UT. ... UT's Rian Pearson has collected the past two MAC West player of the week awards. In the four games over that period he averaged 25 points, 9.3 rebounds, and 1.8 steals while shooting 50 percent from the field. Pearson's 17.3 points are tied for most in the MAC with Miami's Julian Mavunga. ... OU guards D.J. Cooper (13.3) and Walter Offutt (12.0) lead their team in scoring. Cooper is shooting 33 percent from the field but has posted 128 assists to 64 turnovers. ... Of the 64 shots OU's Nick Kellogg has attempted in MAC games, 60 are 3-pointers. ... Notes: The Falcons look to win their third straight game for the first time this season when they travel to Muncie, Ind., to face the Cardinals, who have lost three straight at home after starting the season 7-0 at Worthen Arena. … Ball State is led by pre-season All-MAC choice Jarrod Jones, who ranks among the league leaders in points (16.8) and rebounds (8.7) per game. … Senior G Randy Davis tops the Cards with 5.6 assists per game and leads all Division I players with his 3.81 assist-to-turnover ratio. … BG's Jordon Crawford leads the MAC in assists per game in conference play (6.2) and has at least three assists in 16 consecutive contests. … Sophomore Cameron Black has blocked at least one shot in nine straight games and ranks third in the MAC in that category (1.6). Black's 35 blocks this year are one shy of the top 10 single seasons in school history.
