Utility work to close part of Ford Street
Maumee will close Ford Street between the Anthony Wayne Trail and Illinois Avenue for 14 days beginning Tuesday to allow crews from Columbia Gas of Ohio to upgrade a natural-gas line.
Businesses along Ford Street will still have access to their driveways during the project.
The improvement is part of a $200 million investment Columbia Gas is making in northwest Ohio over 20 years, including $20.4 million in the city of Toledo, the gas company said.
