Bedtime items collected for distribution to needy
Toledo Seagate Food Bank of Northwest Ohio, 526 High St., is working with local businesses to collect pajamas, slippers, toothbrushes, and other bedtime items through Saturday. The donated items will be distributed through local charities.
Admission to movies will be a pair of pajamas per family at the Maumee Indoor Theatre, 601 Conant St., on Saturday. Little Monsters will be shown at 9 a.m. and Bedtime Stories at 11 a.m.
Tim Hortons in Maumee and Rossford will be collecting items all week and giving free cups of regular coffee for donations.
The Schakolad stores at Levis Commons and Westfield Franklin Park will give two chocolates for a donation.
Other collection sites are all Genoa Bank branches, the Village Idiot in Maumee, Cold Stone Creamery, and CedarCreek Church.
