BENTON RIDGE, Ohio — An early morning crash in Hancock County on Thursday sent one woman to the hospital after her vehicle struck a parked car and a house.

Kimberly Schimmoeller, 30, of Benton Ridge, was taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital to be treated for her injuries, Hancock County Sheriff’s deputies said. A hospital spokesman said the victim was not on the hospital’s directory.

Ms. Schimmoeller was driving a 2005 Toyota Camry eastbound in the 100 block of Main Street when she hit a parked car. She continued eastbound, driving off the south side of the road and hitting a house, deputies said.

The crash remains under investigation.
