Reconstruction of Sylvania Avenue following a sewer project is to resume Monday morning with closing of the eastbound lanes between Jackman Road and Hoiles Avenue, the city transportation division has announced.
Two-way traffic will be set up in the normal westbound lanes. Weather permitting, this construction phase will be finished in mid-June, and work will shift to the westbound lanes.
Final paving and cleanup are scheduled for August.
The stretch between Hoiles and Lewis Avenue was rebuilt last fall, after the sewer project was completed.
