2 hurt in South Avenue crash

Two people were injured Tuesday morning in a two-car crash on South Avenue in South Toledo, authorities said.

The victims, whose names and conditions weren’t available, were taken to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center with injuries that did not appear to be life threatening, according to the Toledo fire department.

The crash occurred about 5:10 a.m. on South near Spencer Street, according to the Lucas County EMS.

The incident remained under the investigation by Toledo police, which released no further information.
