The expanded Kroger Marketplace store is to be finished in 2013, bringing its size to 133,000 square feet from the current 68,000 square feet.
Construction moves forward on the effort to double the size of the Kroger store on Sterns Road at Secor Road in Lambertville and convert it into a Kroger Marketplace store, the first Marketplace store in the Toledo area and the only one in Michigan.
Crews work on the expansion of the Lambertville Kroger. The first phase should be finished by November.
The first phase of the expansion is to be done in November, and the expanded store is to be finished in 2013, bringing its size to 133,000 square feet from the current 68,000 square feet. The added space is to house a grocery segment and a home store selling furniture, rugs, small appliances, cookware, and bed and bath merchandise. It also will have a bistro area with a coffee, beverage, and olive bar and made-to-order sandwiches, a wider selection of fresh produce, and a Fred Meyer Jewelers.
