Wolcott House host to 42nd lawn sale
Look for antiques, food, and history at today's 42nd Annual Antiques and Collectibles Lawn Sale, held by Maumee Valley Historical Society and Wolcott House Museum Complex.
The event, at Wolcott House, will feature vendors selling vintage items and locally made goods, said Amy Danforth, special events coordinator for Wolcott House and the Maumee Valley Historical Society.
New this year at the event will be lectures throughout the day on the topics of quilts, roses, constructing family genealogies, and northwest Ohio's involvement in the Civil War.
The event runs from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., and admission is free.
Food will be available for purchase, and the Maumee Community Band will provide music from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Visitors will also receive free access to a one-room schoolhouse from circa 1870 and log house, which are part of the museum complex.
