Senior center hours extended in Bowling Green for heat

BOWLING GREEN -- The Wood County Senior Center will be open for extended hours and days through Sunday because of forecasts for high heat.

The Wood County Committee on Aging announced the senior center at 305 N. Main St. would be open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Thursday, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, and from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Lunch will be offered from noon to 1 p.m. and dinner at 5:30 p.m. each day. Reservations are required by calling 419-353-5661.
