High-scoring guard to play at BGSU

Zack Denny, a 6-2 shooting guard from Valley View High School in Germantown, Ohio (near Dayton), has verbally committed to sign with the Bowling Green State University men's basketball team and join the program for the 2013-14 season.

Denny averaged 28.8 points per game last season and added six rebounds, six steals and three assists per contest for the Spartans. He received All-Ohio special mention in Division II last season and was an honorable mention choice as a sophomore, when he averaged 24.5 points per game.

Denny has been named Southwest Buckeye League player of the year in the Southwestern Division each of the past two seasons.

Denny is the first player to announce his intention to join the Falcons. BGSU coaches cannot comment on Denny until he signs his national letter of intent in November.
