Railroad crossing repairs closes part of Pickle Road in Oregon

Railroad crossing repairs that closed Pickle Road between Woodville Road and Wheeling Street today are scheduled to take eight days to complete, the Oregon Department of Public Service announced.

Traffic will be detoured via Woodville and Wheeling until the work’s July 25 conclusion. Access to driveways on either side of the Pickle crossing will be maintained.

CSX Transportation is replacing railroad ties and making other track upgrades on its line through East Toledo and Oregon. Trains may move slowly through the area during this maintenance.
