Road work to close lanes on Berdan, Haverhill

Pavement repairs will close part of Berdan Avenue today and require lane closings Thursday and Friday on Haverhill Drive, the city transportation division said.

Berdan will close at 7:30 a.m. for pavement repairs between Haverhill and Jeep Parkway.

The Berdan exit from northbound I-75 also will be closed.

A posted detour will follow Jeep and Willys parkways, with the Willys load limit suspended.

Reopening is expected by 7 p.m. but could be earlier, city officials said.

Access to the Berdan entrance to southbound I-75 will be maintained via Haverhill.
