Sylvania students participate in China study trip

Two Central Catholic High School students from Sylvania, Claire Langenderfer and Blake Wasung, accompanied four other CHS students from the international baccalaureate program to China last month.

Ms. Langenderfer and Mr. Wasung attended the Chinese Summer Bridge Camp and also visited Beijing and Henan Province.

The trip was to enhance understanding between youth in China and in the United States. The students studied the Chinese language and visited students and families.

The other CHS students were Brendan O'Hearn and Bernadette Reamer of Toledo, Hannah Osswald of Monclova Township, and Sarah Rumple of Perrysburg.
