The unemployment rate in Toledo rose to 9.1 percent in July, up one-tenth of a percentage point from June.
The numbers released by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services are not seasonally adjusted.
Lucas County's unemployment rate was unchanged at 8.3 percent. The state said there were 17,600 people unemployed in the county.
Wood County's rate dropped from 7.5 percent in June to 7.3 percent in July. Ottawa County dropped from 8.3 percent to 8.2 percent, and Fulton County rose from 7.1 percent to 7.8 percent.
Ohio's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate, released Friday, was 7.2 percent in July, unchanged from June.
