Authorities seize pot from Hancock Co. home

FOREST, Ohio — Marijuana with an estimated street value of $188,000 has been confiscated from a Forest home, Hancock County officials said.

Members of the Hancock County METRICH Drug Enforcement Unit went to 18801 Township Rd. at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday to execute a search warrant.

Inside the house authorities found 188 marijuana plants, drug paraphernalia, grow lights, and a firearm.

No arrests were made, but charges are pending, officials said.
