BOWLING GREEN -- Properties that failed to sell at sheriff’s sale and were forfeited to the state are to be sold Nov. 14 to the highest bidder.
Wood County Auditor Michael Sibbersen will hold a forfeited land sale at 9:30 a.m. in the hearing room of the County Office Building in the courthouse complex. Registration begins at 9 a.m.
There are 31 parcels for sale in 13 different taxing districts in Wood County, although properties could be removed from the list if the delinquent taxes are paid by the prior owner. Successful bidders will receive an auditor’s deed for each parcel for the purchase price plus $5.50 deed and transfer fee, giving them clear and perfect title.
A complete list of parcels is available in the auditor’s office or online at www.co.wood.oh.us/auditor/.
