The city of Toledo’s Department of Neighborhoods and the Toledo-Lucas County Homelessness Board are to be hosts to a free conference on ending homelessness in Lucas County. The event is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday at the University of Toledo’s Scott Park campus.
It will focus on homelessness in the county and continuum of care to prevent, reduce, and end homelessness locally. The morning session is to include a keynote address from Mark Johnston, acting assistant secretary for community planning and development for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
