Homeless shelter hosting open house

Family House, a homeless shelter for families, is hosting an open house for community members from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.

Annually, the emergency family shelter at 669 Indiana Ave. in Toledo provides shelter, meals, and services to about 800 individuals. The open house is to let community members know more about the shelter, its services and facilities, and to showcase a new library and computer lab there.
