Lucas County officials are seeking candidates to fill a volunteer seat on the five-member Lucas County Public Defender Commission, which oversees provision of legal-defense services to indigent clients in several local courts.
Anyone interested in filling the vacant seat must fill out the county’s application for a public volunteer form and provide a detailed resume. Applications are available at the county commissioners’ office at One Government Center, on its Web site, co.lucas.oh.us, or may be obtained by calling 419-213-4500.
The application deadline for the public defender commission seat is Dec. 14. The seat’s term runs through July 22, 2014.
