Wildwood Preserve Metropark will celebrate a Victorian-style Christmas at the old schoolhouse, 5100 W. Central Ave., on Saturday.
The Oak Grove School, which is at the east entrance to the preserve, will be decorated for an 1890s-style Christmas celebration and will be open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. A ‘schoolmarm’ in period dress will be on hand that afternoon to explain holiday traditions during that time.
The program is free, but patrons are encouraged to make reservations. Call 419-407-9701.
