The city of Toledo will continue to collect Christmas trees through Jan. 14 at no charge at six locations in the city.
Trees should be cleared of all decorations, bags, and other material. Collected trees will be ground into mulch by forestry crews.
The drop-off sites are at Jermain Park, Schneider Park, Ravine II, Detwiler Park, Bowman Park at the Laskey Road entrance, and Greenwood Park at the Darrell Road entrance. All sites will be marked with signs indicating where to drop off trees.
The city does not collect trees at curbside with other refuse.
